J.D. Wright — Bass

    The newest member of Tall Static! A Portland native, J.D. Wright graduated with honors in bass studies from the Musicians Institute of Hollywood, CA. His fellow band members are happy to say that he doesn't lord this over them...very much.

    J.D. has played with a long list of artists in town over the years, including jazz/fusion band Full Rambis, soul/R&B/blues outfit 3 In The Key, Soul Syndicate with Kita Montgomery, and Jimmy Robb with Rhythm Jones.

    We in Tall Static are very pleased that J.D. has chosen to lay down his elegantly funky bass lines with us.
